The Lighting Design Competition was organised by the Italian Lighting Association (AIDI), the National Council of Italian Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Curators (CNAPPC), the Italian Association of Lighting Professionals (APIL), the Architecture Department of University RomaTre and the Lighting Design Master programme of Sapienza University, which had the aim to develop a design concept dedicated to a very special part of Rome: the axis of Via Cristoforo Colombo in the EUR residential and business district.
